Simply a wonderful establishment. Dana Meyer and co. are excellent- exceedingly trustworthy, reputable, and honest. Not to mention good people. As long as I have a car and live within a hundred miles, I'll be coming back.

I have been a happy customer of Dana's for over 25 years, and with 4 different cars over that time. These guys are straight shooters, and will explain clearly what may be the problem, while giving you options for car of your vehicle. The counter staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and most work can be completed within the day. Calling ahead usually gets an appointment very quickly--like within a day if not same-day. Can't recommend Dana Meyer enough!

They are so skilled and honest The office staff, the mechanics, Dana, Cat - wow, they are all just so accommodating. I moved from Berkeley to Oakland 12 years ago but still make the trek over to Albany and my trusted team over at Dana Meyer Auto Care. I had an issue with my ' Starter ' ....on my '06 Accord for a while now. Bought the car about 2 years ago used with like 102k on the Clock. Hardly drive 4k a year on this one. The Lady @ the desk ' Kat ' ( hope right spelling ) - was Extremely Patient, Thorough as well as Honest in working through the issue over a 2 month period. Dana ( whenever I did see him around ) also seemed ' very approachable ' - which I liked. Feels Re-Assuring to a Customer. Esply. ' In this Industry ' !!! Well - The starter ' did not always engage on a full turn , but did after a 2 minute break or so. Typically - with this problem ( as they also had noted ); hard to tell if it is an ' Ignition Switch ' or a ' Starter '. Also ' Intermittent Issue ' that tends to ' Correct Itself ' - Esply. in shop ...as usual !!! !! Well - The first visit and overnite ' drop-off ' it corrected itself. They charged me only ' fraction of hour fee '. Stated we better wait. Subsequently - like 6 - 8 weeks later it was failing badly n I drive her in. They did ' diagnose as starter only ', and replace. Now it feels ' Solid '. Turning over ' like it should ' on almost every Crank '. Thanks Dana Meyer for ' being there '. Had been hearing good things about you guys since the 90's when I used to sell @ Val Strough VW...up the Street. Glad I went in .....Cheers !!!

My regular mechanic was very backed up with work when my head gasket started to go. So I looked on RepairPal and this shop was recommended. It was convenient because it was close to my kids' schools and I'm over there all the time anyway. They got me in immediately, for which I'm grateful as head gasket is a huge job. The price tag made my head spin a bit, but I was expecting it to be really expensive anyway. I have a bit of an inkling how much work goes into a head gasket replacement. I was given a quote and left my car for the better part of a week. I got it back yesterday. I'm thrilled with the service. They didn't just replace the head gaskets but a whole bunch of peripheral stuff that was getting old and would need replacing soon anyway. And it came in under the original quote. My car's 12 years old and it runs so smoothly and quietly now it's like I have a brand new engine. The staff was wonderful and friendly, Cat made everything as painless and transparent as possible. I'm really pleased with the service I got at Dana Meyer Auto Care and recommend them highly.

They were very helpful in finding the problem with my window that would not shut. They ordered the part, fixed it and also checked my car They found a cracked hose and fixed it too. I have been a customer for 30 years and would not take my car to anyone else. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable

Such a wonderful experience. Nice people, great service, great repair. It was a huge contrast to the dealership, which is impersonal and seems to feel you have nothing else to do but wait in line. I'm so glad I went to Dana Meyer, and I am always going there in the future.
