This shop did a fantastic job replacing my transmission caused from a tomatoe truck on i80 sending debris into my lane and punched a hole in it. They had me back in my car in no time at all. The office staff were exceptionally nice and very knowledgeable.

Front desk staff and transparency were excellent. The only reason there was not five stars was a miscommunication or misunderstanding about closing time. I was called and told that my car was ready in the morning. I told a staff member that I would be there before 5:30, which was their closing time. I arrived at 5:25, but the front desk person seemed upset that I had not come earlier. She stated that everyone had gone home, but that they had had to wait for me. She was not rude, but she seemed impatient and abrupt. if there is a preference that customers come earlier, please tell them this. Otherwise, it’s unprofessional to project frustration on the customers when they’ve done nothing wrong. I will definitely be going back, and this was a minor blip in otherwise outstanding transparency, communication about the work, and performance.

I had been to 2 other auto repair shops who charged me for fixing my check engine light. The light kept coming on. Dana Meyer Auto Care found the problem and eliminated it.

I came here for what I thought was a timing issue that was throwing an error on my 1980 jeep's smog test. After a quick time in the shop, Dana called me to explain the vacuum hose simply needed to be removed prior to the smog test and that timing was well within spec. Alas, the jeep has since passed smog! Dana spent time answering all my questions and only charged for the initial inspection amount! It's incredibly rewarding to find a caring and professional business here.

Excellent -- quality-focused -- auto shop. No 'extra sales' that I didn't need, and attended to both the essential maintenance and noted the likely future maintenance needed (but not currently called for).
