If Dana ever goes out of business, my new car will be a bicycle. Seriously. He has been my mechanic for a number of years, and he was my mother's mechanic. The one time I listened to her, it paid off in gold. My criteria for staying with a business is that they are good at what they do, they are ethical, and professional with their customers. Dana Meyer's Auto Care is all of this and more. Additionally, he picks his staff well. I want to single out one of his employees, Cat, for well-deserved praise. My car had been having trouble starting....the engine would turn over, but not catch. Then the check engine light would appear....never a good thing. I finally took my car to Dana, and it was Cat who helped me. She identified the problem, cleared the check engine light and sent me on my way with the knowledge that this would probably happen again. It did. What I did not know is that she ordered the part in anticipation of my next visit. So, the part was there when I brought the car in for a replacement. These folks value their customers' time, as evidenced by her initiative in ordering the part I needed. They were equally concerned about another customer's schedule, and worked to make it convenient for him. Long story, but well worth reading if you want to take your car to a trustworthy, and caring auto mechanic, and his great staff.
